Kayla and Zach Cook

We met Kayla's parents last summer when they were in town interviewing potential wedding vendors. We hit it off immediately, but that was easy to do because Carmen and Karen are great! We did not meet Kayla and Zach until January when they all came down from West Virginia. We quickly realized that Kayla and Zach were great too! We had a great time planning some fun things for their wedding and just talking and getting to know each other! Melainie Allen and the staff at the Marriott were fabulous and Willie Rice was great to work with too! Sheri's Edible Designs provided an extraordinary cake (as usual!!).

Below you will find a copy of a satisfaction survey completed by Zach. We are beyond thrilled that we made them happy!

What is your favorite memory from your event?

The entire experience with JLKevents will last with us forever. Every single moment was exciting and special. When Jamie introduced the love story to the guests, it was very emotional and entertaining. It gave the guests a deeper understanding of Kayla & I's relationship and how we got to this special day. The finale was especially meaningful as they played "Country Roads" by John Denver. The majority of our guests, including ourselves, drove from West Virginia to Hilton Head, so having our guests surround us, while passionately cheering "Take Me Home, To The Place, I Belong, West Virginia, Mountain Mama, Take Me Home", was icing on the cake! It was like a family member hosting our party. Jamie and JLKevents will forever be in our hearts. It was evident from the beginning and from every aspect of our night, that JLKevents put their hearts & souls into our very special day. Thanks for your hard work & everlasting friendship!

Rhythm Entertainment

What a pleasure to work with Rhythm Entertainment! Rhythm is a high volume entertainer from ATL and he was asked to DJ a wedding Hilton Head for a family friend. Rhythm knew that he wanted to have cool lighting effects at Sheryl's wedding, so he contacted us and we were thrilled to work with him. Rhythm rocked the house and JLKevents provided fun and funky lighting! And again, another great event with Landon Jacob!

Kellie and Mike

Kellie and Mike--what can we say?? There was no doubt that they were going to have a good time!! They are just tons of fun and every time we met with them during the planning process, we ended up laughing and joking! Kellie was such a pleasure--she is so organized and gives "Monica" from Friends a run for her money! We were thrilled to work with Landon Jacobs again--we have missed them!

What is your favorite memory from your event?
It's really hard to pick! I think it would be a toss up between the Love Story and the last dance. The Love Story was so sentimental and was a unique way to let all of our guests know about us as a couple. The last dance was just plain fun!

Delta Plantation

Who knew the slice of wonderful that sits right outside of Levy, SC? It is called Delta Plantation and it is gorgeous! Sebrell Smith Floral and Event Designers wanted to add lighting to the reception, so we were thrilled to be part of it. I truly loved the blue!! Allison Reisz is an amazing photographer and we thank her so much for sharing these images with us!

Tina and Eric

Oh, Tina and Eric--so much fun!! Tina's sister, Stacy called me and said they were going to hire us to entertain at her sister's wedding--no questions asked--just send a contract! I love that! Tina and Eric are from Kentucky and they brought their closest family and friends to the Hilton Shorehouse to celebrate their marriage. By the way, Kentucky people know how to have a good time!! It was fun hanging out with Tina and Eric as we planned their reception. Eric is a hoot and Tina is a beauty! We had a great time with them!

July 4--Berkeley Hall

Who knows how to celebrate July 4 better than Berkeley Hall? NO ONE!! They have a pool party, inflatables for the kids, unbelievable food and a fabulous fireworks show!! We are proud to be part of this event every year--DJ, lighting and photo booth!!

Kim and Jeremy

We loved getting to know Kim and Jeremy! Jeremy is a Marine and we are so thankful to him for his service to the USA! Kim is a sweetheart and so in love with her Marine! We met with Kim and Jeremy and Kim's parents in the Winter and made plans for their reception. Jeremy had us singing "It's a great day to be alive" for weeks--gotta love some Travis Tritt!! Their wedding reception proved to be very memorable! Lisa and the staff at Moss Creek were a pleasure to work with! We were honored to be part of it!

Sarah Clark--Port Royal

How sweet is Sarah? This girl had the world turned upside down on her wedding day--Mother Nature was quite cruel!! A HUGE storm stirred up right as she was supposed to be getting married on the beach. But...nothing could upset Sarah on her wedding day--she married the love of her life in the Port Royal Clubhouse! Jen Leiti and her staff were beyond amazing from beginning to end! Open Light Studio documented the night and they were so generous to share these images with us. We hope you enjoy!!

Parris Island Lyceum

This was a wedding that we did at the Lyceum on Parris Island. This room is HUGE!!! Lighting seemed to bring it all together. Andrea was a beautiful and fun bride. We met at the Beaufort Bridal Show and I had a great time chatting with her in the months prior to her wedding.

About Me

My photo
About me personally. To me there is no final win or lose, at least here on earth. Winning or losing is done each and every moment of every day. James Taylor wrote that "the secret of life is enjoying the passage of time," Paul wrote that he was content in all things - to me that is winning. Sometimes I win, sometimes I don't.
